Marine Stadium one of the world's premier water skiing facilities. Sand beach, rest rooms, picnicking and ample parking. The stadium was the site for the 1932 Olympic Rowing competition and the 1968 Olympic rowing trials. Marine Stadium was recently designated as an official state historic site. True to Marina Vista's name, the park overlooks the water and provides a scenic atmosphere. A great location for a special event, it is the home of Marine Stadium Local Harvest Farmers' Market. We have a variety of farm fresh Certified California Grown Fruits and Vegetables, along with fresh cooked fare vendors, and a wide variety of gourmet specialty foods. Arts, crafts and jewelry from local area vendors can also be found and purchased here. Musicians from the surrounding communities will entertain you while you shop, eat, spend an evening in the park or just leisurely stroll through.
